Join fellow beer geeks celebrating Buffalo Beer Week for a Buffalo Beer Geek FESTIVAL to end all festivals:

------>World Class Beer
——>Food Pairings with Festival Beers for sale
——>music, friends, fun!

Brought to you by local craft beer pioneers from the Pizza Plant, Cole’s, the Blue Monk, and local Buffalo Beer Geeks. The venue is Artisan Kitchens & Baths located at 200 Amherst St Buffalo, NY 14207. Only 125 tickets per session are available.

TWO SESSIONS (one for $40, both for $70, $45 at door)
–>>>>September 28, 2013, 1-4pm
–>>>>September 28, 2013, 6-9pm

The average beer fest is created to appeal to the average beer drinker, with breweries pouring their most popular labels. Every so often, though, a beer fest is held that follows a more stringent set of guidelines that causes beer geeks to rejoice. This is THAT kind of beer fest.

This fest was created by a team of beer geeks in order to focus on putting on less common craft brews from around the country and around the world. And special brews from our local breweries. Nothing against flagships, but this fest does not focus on beers you can regularly find on tap or in bottles. This is a one-of-a-kind fest that will pour unique beers of a very high quality.

Ticket price includes entrance to the event, tickets for beer tastes, and a commemorative festival tasting glass.

A portion of the profits from this event will be donated to Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper (who will raffle a rain barrel full of beer prizes), the Queen City Roller Girls (who will be pouring beer). Members of the Buffalo Beer Geeks group will be on hand to answer geeky beer questions!

Don’t miss this. Beer list coming soon. Join Buffalo Beer Geeks Facebook Group for free for more frequent updates (https://www.facebook.com/groups/buffalobeergeeks).

His books on beer and whiskey have sold millions of copies and his 1993 Discovery Channel television series, Beer Hunter, inspired countless brewers and beer enthusiasts and literally helped shape the course of the craft brewing revolution that continues to sweep the world.

And of course, there will be Beer at the Screening.

7 – 11 PM Beer Hunter the Movie at the Pan American Grill & Brewery

“Beer Hunter” is a documentary film about the beloved and influencial beer and whiskey journalist, Michael Jackson. His books on beer and whiskey have sold millions of copies and his 1993 Discovery Channel television series, “The Beer Hunter”, inspired countless brewers and beer enthusiasts and literally helped shape the course of the craft brewing revolution that continues to sweep the world. Buffalo Beer Week Collaboration Beer – Lord Lupulin (and all Pan Am Beers) – will be on tap! For those “Beer Geeks” who are not familiar with Mr. Jackson – it’s right time you learn! 6 – 10 PM Oskar Blues Beer Dinner Pairing at Medici House

Seating is limited so call 652-0341 quick for reservations. This event will be hosted by Yvon Paul Pasquarello from Oskar Blue. Living in Brooklyn, Yvon is a Buffalo native and Oskar Blue’s NYS representative. Medici House’s Chef will be on hand to answer questions about the menu items as well.

For $30 per person diners will be treated to a stuffed banana pepper appetizer which will be paired with Oskar Blues Old Chub. Mind you, this isn’t going to be a tiny little tasting of Old Chub. Each serving is 11 oz. You will get to savor the brew along with every bite of your banana peppers. Next up will be a mango avocado salad which will be paired with Dales Pale Ale. On to the main entrée: buttermilk fried chicken, mashed potatoes and greens. This will be paired with Mam’s Lil Yella Pils. If you have room for dessert, they have a caramel marble cake that will be paired with Ten FIDY Imperial Stout.

After that, our guess is you will need to lean back and hang out for a while because you’ll be too full to move.

Medici House offers beer pairing dinners monthly so if for some reason you can’t make this one (maybe because you’ve got another Beer Week event you have to make), give them a call (652-0341) and find out their schedule. Located on Main St., E. Aurora
