It’s hard to believe, but we have already reached the midway point of the eighth annual Buffalo Beer Week. After today, there are only five days left to celebrate, so we shouldn’t waste any more time. And bear in mind that today is Tuesday, so its Taco Tuesday across the land. Just another reason to hit your local watering hole and grab a pint of the good stuff. So, with that, let’s move onto today’s events.
Lafayette Brewing Company will celebrate their third annual Oktoberfest, 5-8pm. The event will feature $3.50 pints and the Lafayette brewers will also be on hand, hanging out, answering questions and talking and drinking beer.
42 North Brewing is tapping a cash of Jalapeño Borderland IPA to pair along with our Taco Tuesday special – 1 beer + 2 tacos for $10.
Rusty Nickel Brewing is teaming up with Jaz & Jacks for the OktoberFEAST, a beer dinner with each course paired with RNBC Fall Beers. Complimentary glass included. Tickets are $40 and be purchased here. One of the beers featured will be FemAle Beer #4, Peach Cran Kolsch.
Hamm & Fattey’s will have $3 16oz. pints of Singlecut beers available.
Shango Bistro will host a Beer & Music Happy Hour, 5-8pm, combining farm to table tapas, local brews and jazz by trumpeter Daniel Bassin.
Head down to the Burning Buffalo Bar & Grill and keep the pint glass every time you order a pour of Ellicottville Brewing beer, starting at 7pm.
New York Beer Project are hosting a 4 course musical beer pairing evening, which will take the food / beer pairing dinner one sense further as we explore how music enhances our interpretation of food and beer. Registration begins at 6:30pm with your complimentary NYBP pint upon arrival. This musical dining experience begins at 7pm.
Thin Man Brewery will tap their Apple Brandy Barrel Aged Forever Cordial, their Imperial Stout collaboration with Florida’s Three Sons Brewing Co. at 6pm.
The Twang Gang will take to the stage at the Sportsman Tavern for a special evening of live music starting at 6pm, with all proceeds going to benefit the Sportsman’s Americana Music Foundation. Brews from CB Craft Brewers and Flying Bison will be available for the event.
West Shore Brewing and Buffalo Brewing Company will also be open every day during Buffalo Beer Week. It’s also Steal The Pint Week at Buffalo Brewing, meaning that each time you order a pint, you keep the glass (while supplies last). Lafayette Brewing is also offering $3.50 pint specials all Buffalo Beer Week long.
